My clinic is primarily psychoanalytic. Psychoanalysis offers a place to speak about the particularities of one's difficulties and suffering which are affecting life's two main arenas; love and work. Symptoms have something to say, and psychoanalysis provides a way to put words to the unspoken, disrupting the symptom and putting it to work. The psychoanalytic clinic engages with the particular rather than the general, and thus does not offer a preformed knowledge. It offers a working of what is spoken towards the production of a new knowledge.
I work with adults with a wide range of issues. If you are considering an analysis, we would meet a number of times to clarify what you're seeking and then discuss the possibilities of an analysis. This would also help you to clarify whether an analysis may have something to offer you.
My rooms are in Carlton North and via telehealth.
