Trauma and burn-out culture; cultivating your mental health practice A combination of an outcomes-driven and competitive health system, high case-loads and common misunderstandings about the nature of trauma can lead clinicians toward a high risk of burn-out and nihilism in their work. This workshop aims at re-orienting the nature of our work from provision to cultivation of practice, via understanding trauma differently and repositioning how we listen and engage with the client's symptoms.
